Waxman-Markey

House of Representative bill 2454, the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009.  This bill was created in the 111th Congress, in 2009-2010, and is named for the sponsors. The goal is to  create clean energy jobs, achieve energy independence, reduce global warming pollution and transition to a clean energy economy.
